IFMBE has two new member societies
SFGBM and NIBE

 


 

 

IFMBE General Assembly has voted on two membership applications. The two societies, "Société Française de Génie Biologique et Médical" (SFGBM), the French Society of Biomedical Engineering and the Nigerian Institute for Biomedical Engineering (NIBE) have completed their membership applications and the Constitution and Bylaws Committee have agreed that they are eligible  for IFMBE membership. The applications can be studied through this link.

The ballots were sent out to the delegates of General Assembly in June and the voting was finished July 18.

The result of the voting shown in the table below that both societies were approved for full membership of IFMBE. IFMBE has now 50 member societies from different parts of the world.

The voting percentage was 55,2%
